The work Fishing Beside The Willows by Da Chongguang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,815.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Da Chongguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).

Die Arbeit Fishing Beside The Willows von Da Chongguang kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.815,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Da Chongguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96).
