Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Da Chongguang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,015.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Da Chongguang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Da Chongguang kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.015,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Da Chongguang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96).
