Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Danielle Orchard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in October last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Picnic sold for GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,715.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Danielle Orchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Bathers in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 287,500.00 (€ 254,717.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Danielle Orchard erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Picnic für GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.715,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Danielle Orchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Bathers im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 287.500,00 (€ 254.717,82).
