It achieved a price of GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,157.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Maclise achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wrestling Scene in 'As You Like It' in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 314,650.00 (€ 459,379.08).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.585,00 (€ 5.157,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Maclise erzielen.
