In December 2017 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work The Revenge of the Birds by Daniel Libeskind. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,703.38), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Daniel Libeskind have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spirit House Chair. in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 14,190.00.

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Revenge of the Birds von Daniel Libeskind zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.703,38) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Libeskind auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spirit House Chair. im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.190,00.
