Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy Summer School, which included the work Plot Fill X by Daniel Lefcourt. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,063.00 (€ 3,650.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Daniel Lefcourt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Reversal of Fortune) in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,021.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plot Fill X von Daniel Lefcourt zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.063,00 (€ 3.650,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Lefcourt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Reversal of Fortune) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 15.021,72).
