Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Addendum (Volume IV, Number III) by Daniel Lefcourt was auctioned at Phillips in March this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,016.00 (€ 934.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Lefcourt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Reversal of Fortune) in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,021.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Addendum (Volume IV, Number III) von Daniel Lefcourt kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.016,00 (€ 934,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Lefcourt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Reversal of Fortune) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 15.021,72).
