Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Daniel Garber achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2008. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Lone Farm sold for USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Garber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work November in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Garber erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Lone Farm für USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Garber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit November im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82).
