Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Corn by Daniel Garber. The »bidding war« ended at USD 578,500.00 (€ 415,618.94), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Daniel Garber have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82) in May 2013 for the work November.

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Corn von Daniel Garber zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 578.500,00 (€ 415.618,94) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Daniel Garber haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit November beobachtet.
