Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Fishing vessels moored on a beach in a Mediterranean town by Daniël Dupré. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 705.00 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Daniël Dupré have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A mountainous Italianate landscape with a peasant woman carrying her child on a road, a traveller resting beyond in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 4,780.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing vessels moored on a beach in a Mediterranean town von Daniël Dupré zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 705,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniël Dupré auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A mountainous Italianate landscape with a peasant woman carrying her child on a road, a traveller resting beyond im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.780,00.
