This artwork by Daniel Buren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. In the Limited Edition auction, the work Les Cent Vases - 2010 sold for EUR 5,767.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Buren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture Aux Formes Indéfinies in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,175,000.00 (€ 1,950,847.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Buren erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Edition wurde die Arbeit Les Cent Vases - 2010 für EUR 5.767,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Buren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture Aux Formes Indéfinies im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.175.000,00 (€ 1.950.847,61).
