This artwork by Daniel Buren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Couleurs et Ombres portées n° 11 Situated work sold for EUR 30,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Buren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture Aux Formes Indéfinies in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,175,000.00 (€ 1,950,847.61).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Buren erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Couleurs et Ombres portées n° 11 Situated work für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Buren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture Aux Formes Indéfinies im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.175.000,00 (€ 1.950.847,61).
