The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Empty Shoji Screen Pergola / Two-Way Mirror Container in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,131.81).
