The work Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Untitled (Perfect Lovers) by Dan Fischer was worth USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,588.74) to a buyer in September 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dan Fischer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lynda Benglis sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,241.99).
