This work without title by Damián González was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2006. It achieved a price of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,156.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Damián González have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Islote en la niebla in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 55,380.39).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Damián González wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.156,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Damián González auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Islote en la niebla im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 55.380,39).
