Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work El buscador by Damián González was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2010. It achieved a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,218.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Damián González - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Islote en la niebla, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 68,500.00 (€ 55,380.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit El buscador von Damián González kam im November 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.218,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Damián González mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Islote en la niebla beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 68.500,00 (€ 55.380,39) versteigert wurde.
