The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,640.10), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Damián González have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Islote en la niebla in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 55,380.39).
