The work Small Vase by Lucie Rie was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,142.00 (€ 2,361.90), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucie Rie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,814.10).

Die Arbeit Small Vase von Lucie Rie wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.142,00 (€ 2.361,90) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucie Rie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.814,10).
