In September 2020 Christies in London held the auction Modern British Art, which included the work Small Dish by Lucie Rie. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,516.16), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucie Rie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,814.10).

Im September 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small Dish von Lucie Rie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.516,16) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucie Rie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.814,10).
