The »bidding war« ended at GBP 32,760.00 (€ 36,123.23), 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucie Rie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,814.10).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 32.760,00 (€ 36.123,23) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucie Rie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim beobachtet, die im September 2017 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.814,10) versteigert wurde.
