Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Early Cup And Saucer by Lucie Rie was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,389.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucie Rie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,814.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Early Cup And Saucer von Lucie Rie kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.389,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucie Rie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.814,10).
