Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Tarka Dal by Dale Lewis. The price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 10,303.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Dale Lewis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2020 the work Fanta was auctioned for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,260.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tarka Dal von Dale Lewis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 10.303,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Dale Lewis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2020 die Arbeit Fanta für GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.260,26) versteigert.
