Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Volume by Dadamaino. It changed hands for a price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,372.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dadamaino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Volume in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 157,358.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Volume von Dadamaino zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.372,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dadamaino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Volume im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 157.358,56).
