Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Eight by Cyril Power was sold in the The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 46,080.00 (€ 53,082.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Cyril Power have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) was auctioned for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).
