Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Tube Train by Cyril Power was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 46,080.00 (€ 53,082.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Cyril Power have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) was auctioned for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Tube Train von Cyril Power kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 46.080,00 (€ 53.082,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Cyril Power konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2015 die Arbeit Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 95.050,51) versteigert.
