Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Cyprien Gaillard. It changed hands for a price of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 97,938.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Cyprien Gaillard have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work without title was auctioned for USD 193,750.00 (€ 183,440.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cyprien Gaillard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 97.938,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Cyprien Gaillard konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 193.750,00 (€ 183.440,64) versteigert.
