Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ground Invading Figure #35 by Cui Jie was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,034.42). Admittedly, works by Cui Jie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kunming Long-distance Telecom Hub Building in May this year with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 143,473.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ground Invading Figure #35 von Cui Jie wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.034,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cui Jie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kunming Long-distance Telecom Hub Building im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 143.473,72).
