Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, 2008 by Cristóbal Toral was sold in the Contemporary Art Online: NYC auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2018. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,174.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cristóbal Toral achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior Con Bodegón in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 83,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 2008 von Cristóbal Toral wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online: NYC bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.174,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cristóbal Toral erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior Con Bodegón im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 83.650,00.
