In February 2011 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Cristiano Pintaldi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,613.54), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cristiano Pintaldi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Senza titolo, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 53,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cristiano Pintaldi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.613,54) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Cristiano Pintaldi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Senza titolo beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 53.120,00 versteigert wurde.
