Auction result well in line with expectations
The work You Are Welcome by Cristiano Mangovo was sold in the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in March 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,013.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cristiano Mangovo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dia De Felicidade in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,397.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit You Are Welcome von Cristiano Mangovo wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.013,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cristiano Mangovo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dia De Felicidade im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 46.397,13).
