The work Indian Crucifixion by Craigie Aitchison was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,902.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Craigie Aitchison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nandi Bull in Front of Temple III in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 162,729.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Indian Crucifixion von Craigie Aitchison kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.902,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Craigie Aitchison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nandi Bull in Front of Temple III im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 162.729,44).
