Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Craig Kauffman was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2006. The price achieved of USD 45,600.00 (€ 35,533.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Craig Kauffman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 305,283.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Craig Kauffman kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 35.533,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Craig Kauffman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 305.283,76).
