The work Portrait of a young lady, half-length, wearing a bonnet and a lace collar by Cornelis Visscher was sold in the Old Master and British Pictures and Old Master Drawings auction at Christies in London in April 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,338.21), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Visscher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Bohémienne in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 205,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a young lady, half-length, wearing a bonnet and a lace collar von Cornelis Visscher wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Old Master and British Pictures and Old Master Drawings bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.338,21) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Visscher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Bohémienne im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 205.500,00.
