Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Portrait Of A Seated Woman Holding A Fan by Cornelis Visscher. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,814.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Visscher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Bohémienne in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 205,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Seated Woman Holding A Fan von Cornelis Visscher zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.814,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Visscher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Bohémienne im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 205.500,00.
