In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV, which included the work Portrait of Miss Schade by Cornelis Jonson van Ceulen. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Jonson van Ceulen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As Lady Corbett, Half-Length, In A Black Dress Adorned With Pink Rosettes And A Reticella Lace Collar, Cartwheel Ruff And Headdress, In A Feigned Oval in April 2016 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 202,610.13).

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Miss Schade von Cornelis Jonson van Ceulen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Jonson van Ceulen erzielen.
