Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Baker'S Children Playing by Cornelis Dusart was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,385.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Dusart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,482.93).

Die Arbeit The Baker'S Children Playing von Cornelis Dusart kam im Januar 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.385,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
