Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Old Master & British Drawings auction, the work A Peasant Couple Outside A House changed hands for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,492.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Dusart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,482.93).
