Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cornelis Dusart could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Drawings auction, the work A Peasant Couple Outside A House changed hands for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,492.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Dusart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,482.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cornelis Dusart konnte im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings wechselte die Arbeit A Peasant Couple Outside A House für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 19.492,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Dusart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Village Fair With Dancing In The Street beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 75.482,93) versteigert wurde.
