In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work View of a harbour quay, Rotterdam by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee. The result of EUR 1,200.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of a harbour quay, Rotterdam von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.200,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
