Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Horse drawn wagons crossing a bridge by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,880.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horse drawn wagons crossing a bridge von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.880,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
