Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A busy day in a Dutch town von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
