Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Madame by Constant was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2015. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Oiseau in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Madame von Constant kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Oiseau im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
