The work Ducks in a sunlit meadow by Constant Artz was sold in the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ducks in a sunlit meadow von Constant Artz wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.750,00.
