In the Travel, Science and Natural History auction, the work The Muharram procession to the Great Imambara, Lucknow sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 27,595.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Smith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Mount Erskine and Pulo Ticoose, Prince of Wales' Island, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 68,500.00 (€ 87,464.60).
