Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Collier Schorr achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April 2017. In the New Now auction, the work Blow-up sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,234.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Collier Schorr; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot In The Collage (Marie) sold at auction in February 2016 with the realized price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Collier Schorr erzielte im April 2017 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Blow-up für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.234,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Collier Schorr; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit In The Collage (Marie) im Februar 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16).
