Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The day's bag by Colin Graeme Roe. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,720.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Colin Graeme Roe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shin-a-beg a bay horse in a phaeton, with a terrier and a pug in a stable yard, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 7,637.50 (€ 11,813.48).
