It achieved a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,623.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Colin Graeme Roe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Shin-a-beg a bay horse in a phaeton, with a terrier and a pug in a stable yard sold at auction in June 2002 with the realized price of GBP 7,637.50 (€ 11,813.48).
