Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in London held the auction Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Shooting companions by Colin Graeme Roe. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,128.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Graeme Roe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shin-a-beg a bay horse in a phaeton, with a terrier and a pug in a stable yard in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 7,637.50 (€ 11,813.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shooting companions von Colin Graeme Roe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.128,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Colin Graeme Roe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shin-a-beg a bay horse in a phaeton, with a terrier and a pug in a stable yard im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.637,50 (€ 11.813,48).
