Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lonely Gum by Clifton Pugh was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in August 2005. The price achieved of AUD 956.00 (€ 582.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clifton Pugh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian A Feral Cat in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 42,000.00 (€ 25,410.97).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 956,00 (€ 582,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
