The work The Beach by Clifton Pugh was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of AUD 1,968.00 (€ 1,179.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clifton Pugh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian A Feral Cat in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 42,000.00 (€ 25,410.97).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.968,00 (€ 1.179,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clifton Pugh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian A Feral Cat im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 42.000,00 (€ 25.410,97).
