Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish the Presentation Of The Silks by Clément Pujol de Guastavino. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,767.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clément Pujol de Guastavino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish An Audience Before The Emir, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,847.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish the Presentation Of The Silks von Clément Pujol de Guastavino zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.767,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Clément Pujol de Guastavino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish An Audience Before The Emir beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 157.000,00 (€ 100.847,89) versteigert wurde.
